Pali Ke Kua #105 is a perfect honeymoon or couple's romantic getaway! A Kauai vacation condo with beautiful interior design, featuring spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and legendary Bali Hai. Ground floor unit with easy access to the paved path leading to Hideaways Beach. Relax and enjoy sunsets and seasonal whale watching (December through May) from your private lanai.

Pali Ke Kua, one of Princeville’s premier resorts, is located on the ocean bluff overlooking Hideaways Beach, Hanalei Bay and the famous Bali Hai. The resort has amazing ocean and Bali Hai views.

Pali Ke Kua Resort has a completely renovated pool area that is gorgeous! The new pool and jacuzzi are both very large with plenty of areas to relax and sunbathe or enjoy some shade.

Pali Ke Kua has a private, paved path down to Hideaways Beach. This section of Hideaways Beach is difficult to access except by this path and is therefore fairly secluded. It’s is known for surfing and is considered to be one of the best snorkeling spots in Hawaii, but please be advised there is no Life Guard on Duty, winter swells are for experienced surfers only!

If you are adventurous there is a charcoal BBQ grill at the end of the paved path to the beach for guests to BBQ, but bring all your own supplies!

Onsite Restaurant - Hideaways Pizza Pub. You will enjoy the convenience of Pali Ke Kua’s onsite restaurant, Hideaways Pizza Pub. Opened recently, the fully renovated restaurant has a great atmosphere. Great views with an expanse of large windows overlooking the newly renovated pool area, Hideaways Pizza Pub has become a favorite of locals and visitors. The food reviews are very positive. Our guests enjoy the great pizza, wonderful salads (try the kale), really good selection of beers and large screen TV. The staff is friendly and the service is typically pretty quick. Open daily 5pm - 10pm. Reservations are available for parties of 6 or more.

Pali Ke Kua Resort is located in the heart of Princeville, Kauai, close to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay (currently under renovation) the Princeville Shopping Center, Hanalei Bay, Makai Golf Club, shopping, dining and many amazing beaches.

  Views from the property couldn't get any better. There was noise from the renters in the above unit when they were on the balcony directly above the patio.
  The kitchen was equipped to cook, plenty of glasses, plates, quality silverware. The only negative was the bathroom. It is small and could use an update. Not horrible, but needs a refresh. Towels: two bath towels for each adult for the week, and 1 beach towel. It would have been nice to have at leat two beach towels per person.

  Location is everything and the ocean view here cannot be beat. Clean and cozy condo with easy access to everything on the North Shore. We had a small snafu with the key not being there when we arrived but that was quickly remedied. No A/C but the trade winds kept us cool at night. However it would be nice to have at least one standalone fan because it gets very warm right before sunset, even with the blinds closed. Would also have preferred more than 4 forks and more than 2 thin beach towels. Kitchen is great for making meals and appliances are new and high-end. Bed was comfortable. Pool, hot tub, and restaurant on the property are great.

  This is a very nice, efficiently laid out 1 bedroom ground floor condo. Had all the items needed for our 6 day stay. Unit was very clean, comfortable furniture, beach chairs and other stuff all in the unit for our use. The views of the north shore is what makes this unit unique. Also, there is a (very steep) paved walkway down to a private beach right below the unit. The location is on the north shore so if you are doing things in the east and south side of the island you will have to drive 30-40 minutes, but driving this island is a beautiful experience. Great place to stay!!

  Our experience was better than expected. This unit has a great view, a good layout, was clean and well-appointed, and the washer and dryer were a nice bonus. Everything in the description of the property was accurate and although the beach is a fair hike, it was delightful. This is a great location with unobstructed views (one of the best of all the condos). The management company provided everything we needed in advance and there was no need to contact them after we arrived. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to cook several of our meals after purchasing groceries at Foodland in Princeville. Our only quibble was that there were noisy children running around in the upstairs unit, but that can happen in any hotel or condo rental. The unit has no air conditioning which was a concern, but with the windows open and the fan running, we were actually cold in the night after midnight. I highly recommend this place and will alert my friends to it if they are headed to Kauai.

  We had an amazing stay at Pali Ke Kua. The description of the property and the individual unit were accurate, and exceeded our expectations once we arrived in person. We enjoyed being in a first floor unit so that we could walk right out from our lanai to view the sunset and take the walking path down to the beach. The unit was very clean and Lori, the property manager, was always quick to respond leading up to our visit.
  
  It was super convenient being in close proximity to Hanalei, even despite the limited hours to drive-in/out of the town due to the construction that is being completed to repair the road from a recent mudslide that occurred back in March.
  
  We hope to be able to return again for another stay and would certainly book at Pali Ke Kua again.

  The location and views did not disappoint! It's all of that, and steps away from the trail down to Hideaway beach. It's a quaint community and the pool is nice and also great to have the pizza place nearby, if you like pizza or salads. Be aware that since this unit is on the bottom floor, it is very noisy when there's people out on the deck above you, plus when the cleaners came after they left. This is not the fault of the owner, we will just never rent the bottom floor again. The condo is well equipped, except despite what I read from other reviews - there were no paper towels, laundry soap, or even salt and pepper. Plus, the ice maker didn't work so we had to run out and buy ice. The big chair is also falling apart underneath, but otherwise nicely decorated.

  The villa was very clean; kitchen was exceptionally well equipped; we weren't aware there was no a/c but it cooled off significantly in the evening so no problem; ceiling fans seemed to only have ultra-high speed and then ultra low speed, but I think they were being repaired the day we left; could not get DVD player to work and then TV wouldn't work - we did notify the manager who tried to help, but we decided we weren't going to watch anything anyway, and manager promised to reprogram everything before next guest; enjoyed the Hideaways Pizza restaurant on the property - really nice to have that option so close by; the views from the villa and around the perimeter of the property were fantastic - can't really get any better. A great and pretty walk to Foodland/Coffee Bean & Tealeaf and another coffee/breakfast place near there. The unit was comfortable enough; most important thing was the perfect location.

  We stayed 12 days at Pali Ke Kua. The unit was clean, very comfortable and was as it appeared on line. The view from Pali Ke Kua is spectacular and the sounds of the surf are very relaxing. We had breakfasts and dinner on the Lania and soaked up the sun on the lawn by the bluff. We saw Humpback whales from the lawn in front of the lania. We went to the Hideaways beach, by the steep path beside the condo, and watched the surf. The surf was quite high most days, as it was January, but I snorkeled at Hideaways Beach three times on days when it was calmer. I saw millions of beautiful colored fish and a few turtles. We watched the sun set over the Na Pali coast from our lania. We also walked the short distance to Puu Poa Beach at the Princeville Resort. There is a public access path on the left side of the resort which takes you to the beach. It is a beautiful beach but is always busy. There are many people snorkeling however it is over used and the coral has all been broken off. I still saw many fish and some turtles. Hananlei Bay and the town of Hanalei are a short drive west of Princeville. It has many shops and restaurants. We drove a bit further west to He'ena Beach Park and spent two days on the beach there. We had lunch at the Opakapaka Grill and Bar and had amazing fish tacos. They were so good we went back two more time. January is the rainy season and Princeville gets more rain than the south of Kauai. During our 12 days three days were overcast with intermittent rain. We also had a short shower on three other days. We brought rain jackets however we never used them. There are numerous beautiful beaches, plenty of restaurants and activities all in the immediate area of Princeville. I would recommend Pali Ke Kua and Princeville in general to friends and relatives.

  The property was immaculate and beautiful. Perfect place for 2 guests. The View was incredible from the patio and we had cocktails while watching the sunset each evening. It is a hike down to a small private beach that is lovely. Hanalei is about a 7 minute drive and one of the most lovely beaches you can imagine. Beach Chairs and Beach umbrella are provided by host. There are shades to pull down to keep the unit cool while you are away. We initially were worried about a ground floor unit, but that worry was unfounded. There was NO foot traffic that went in front of our unit. It was truly a fantastic place to stay and we would definitely stay here again. We definitely prefer the quieter North side of the island.

  There were a few things that need attention like the cabinet in the kitchen that doesn't open because it can't clear the new stove? The bathroom needs a deep clean especially around the sink drain. But, those small annoyances didn't detract from a very nice unit. We had a lovely time in # 105.

  My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. As first timers to Hawaii we were amazed by the beauty of Kauai. I loved every morning making breakfast and having coffee on the lanai. The view was amazing! My only suggestion might be to add 1 or 2 frying pans as they are well loved and there was only 1 very used pan. Also I did notice that the lid on the blender was cracked and broken. These things nonetheless could be helpful to maybe replace for future guests. I would definitely come back again and stay. Hope to maybe bring some friends along next time so a bigger unit might be needed, but would definitely stay again if just the 2 of us. Also, the bed was comfy so that was a big plus for me. Mahalo!

  This vacation rental is a premiere spot in Princeville and near Hanalei Bay. The view is truly breath taking and the sunset is the best spot on the island. My favorite part of the location is that it is next to the private access beach for Pali Ke Kau which is a dream beach in paradise. The only negative is that it was very hot in the day for my mother as there was no air central air conditioning. Hideaways pub has incredible pizza and queen's bath was only a short 15 minute walk away. Amazing location and experience!

We were SO very pleased with our choice! The views were amazing! It felt like there couldn't be a better spot on the island as the sun set DIRECTLY in front of this condo. We also drove through some of the other complex's which made us even happier with our choice. The landscaping is very nice here and the trees provide nice shade in the parking area. The view is EXACTLY like the picture and is incredible. The amenities were perfectly described and everything that we used worked great. We never ended up cooking as I had originally intended but it was so nice to have the kitchen available just in case. I would highly recommend staying at this location. We did go in June, and there is no air conditioning. The first day we walked in, we were worried but it never ended up being an issue.   Condo: very clean, well equipped with cookwear, and dishes. I appreciate the binoculars, lawn chairs, boggie board, beach mats, beach towels, walking stick, and outside table.
  Location: it was a very short drive to a grocery store with reasonable prices. The closest gas station's prices were very high. Go down the Main Street a couple miles for cheaper gas. We drove to town for most dinners, not walking distance, but close. Fantastic hometown feel.

  Its said in real estate that location is everything, if that is the case then Pali Ke Kua #105 must have everything. When you walk in the front door all you see is the ocean with Bali Hai in the background. All day and night you hear the roar of the surf and you can spend each evening on the lanai watching the sun set over Bali Hai. The condo is only a short walk to the St. Regis and has a private path, albeit a steep one, down to the beach. It is located about 1 1⁄2 miles from the Princeville Shopping Center and a 10 minute drive from Hanalei. There are beaches within walking distance if you want to challenge the paths and several more within a very short drive. All in all a perfect location.
  
  As for the condo itself everything looks to be original, all of the appliances, fixtures, and furniture on the lanai are in need of updating. The owner thoughtfully provide robust wifi, good cable tv and DVD player. There are beach chairs, also in a need of an update, and mats for the beach as well. Most importantly, if you are here in the winter, you will find a pair of binoculars to watch the whales.
  
  The condo also has a couple a quirks that are probably due to the time it was built. We found the light switches all to be placed in places you wouldn’t expect, you would need to enter a room to find the switch for instance. In addition, several of the outlets had to be turned on with switches, this took some getting used to.
  
  Bottom line, Pali Ke Kua #105, despite any flaws is a gem because of its location. I can put up looking for a light switch when I don’t have to look for the view. Its perfect for two people and we would stay here again.

  We visited Princeville earlier this year and stayed at the St. Regis. We fell in love with Kauai and booked a return trip - this time looking for something a little more affordable. We remembered Pali Ke Kua from driving by and after a little research picked #105. We were very pleased! The location is PERFECT, and the view is exactly as shown in the pictures - better view than the St. Regis! The 2 beaches below the cliff are beautiful and SO PRIVATE - we didnt even know they were there the last time we visited. The condo was exactly as pictured as well, we were very happy with it. It was clean and well-equipped, even with beach chairs and gear. The kitchen had everything we needed. The Hideaways Pizza Pub is a 2 minute walk down the path and the food is great. We even spent some time by the pool, which was clean and quiet. We called the property manager on a Sunday because our pool key was not working and she answered right away. Overall a great vacation! Our only negative was that there were a few small bugs flying around when we first got in the apartment - maybe the cleaning person left the doors open while cleaning? But Kauai was buggy, in general this time of year, so not a big deal. There were people staying in the unit above us and noise was not a problem at all. I would recommend this unit to friends and we will probably re-book it when we go back!

  This unit has a fabulous location. The views are spectacular. Go in to any gallery on the island and you will see painting after painting with this exact view. The local beaches are perfect little swimming beaches and not crowded. You can also walk to Queens Bath and Anini from here. The Pali Ke Kua complex has a nice pool and pub on site which is also very convenient. Even though you are surrounded by other units, it feels very private and quiet on the lanai. We typically do a lot of cooking and the kitchen here was a bit spartan but I wouldn't trade that view for anything. Would definitely stay here again!

We pretty much snorkeled at every North Shore beach and this one had the best snorkeling by far. The condo came with everything we needed to have fun on the beach including the snorkeling gear, chairs and cooler. The bed was very comfortable and the breezes were amazing. We stayed in May and did not feel hot, muggy or uncomfortable at all. We will definitely come back to stay again!!

  The condo was just as pictured and described. Comfortable bed. Clean. Best view on the island right from our lanai. Well-stocked kitchen. One complaint - noisy neighbors upstairs. I think Pali Ke Kua should invest in some soundproofing because you can hear spoken conversation and every footstep. Otherwise, #105 was glorious. We will be back!

  This condo was a great fit for my husband and I. Very clean, well stocked with everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. The only slight hitch is that the BBQ is at the botton of a very long steep path to the beach, and it is charcoal (which I believe you need to supply your own). We're big on grilling and this was disappointing. Other than that one detail, the property is perfect - immaculate and very quiet. Great location too; close to golf course, private beach and to a little shopping centre. The owner was accommodating and responds to inquiries very quickly! Last but certainly not least, the view is SPECTACULAR from this condo. Would definitely recommend!!

  We spent 5 wonderful days at Pali Ke Kua #105 and loved every minute! Everything was exactly as described and promised. The condo was perfect for our needs. We loved the layout, the amenities, the breezes, the privacy but most of all the view!! I would rent this condo again in a heartbeat and I have already recommended it to others. Mahalo to the owner and to the property management. We also particularly enjoyed our meals at Postcards Cafe and BARacuda. We highly recommend Wings Over Kauai for an excellent aerial view of the island at half the price of the helicopter tours.

  A perfect getaway for two. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Comfy king size bed. New washer/dryer. Nicely furnished for a relaxing stay. And the view will take your breath away!   Pali Ke Kua #105 was lovely--well stocked, clean, and beautifully furnished with an absolutely gorgeous view of the Na Pali coastline. It was close to wonderful restaurants in Hanalei and Ha'ena. The snorkeling on the private beach below the condo complex was superb---the best on the island in our view and we tried several other beaches. We would definitely return to this unit at Pali Ke Kua and recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and memorable vacation on the north shore of Kaua'i!
