Pali Ke Kua # 223

Pali Ke Kua 223 is undergoing a COMPLETE REMODEL. We will post the new photos as soon as it is completed (estimated date of completion is July 1, 2024) the condo has amazing views of the ocean, Hanalei, and the most incredible sunsets ever.
Right on a bluff overlooking the ocean, and easy access to the paved path leading to Hideaways Beach. Accommodation includes Washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV, VCR, CD player, linens, towels and fully equipped kitchen. The condo is split level with stairs down to the living area and 1st bedroom and stairs up to the second bedroom, each bedroom has a bathroom.

Pali Ke Kua, one of Princeville’s premier resorts, is located on the ocean bluff overlooking Hideaways Beach, Hanalei Bay and the famous Bali Hai. The resort has amazing ocean and Bali Hai views.

Pali Ke Kua Resort has a completely renovated pool area that is gorgeous! The new pool and jacuzzi are both very large with plenty of areas to relax and sunbathe or enjoy some shade.
This condo is not updated but it has all the comforts of a home away from home, washer, dryer, dishwasher.

Pali Ke Kua has a private, paved path down to Hideaways Beach. This section of Hideaways Beach is difficult to access except by this path and is therefore fairly secluded. It’s is known for incredible swimming, surfing and is considered to be one of the best snorkeling spots in Hawaii, please be advised there is no Life Guard on Duty winter swells are for experienced surfers only.

Onsite Restaurant - Hideaways Pizza Pub. You will enjoy the convenience of Pali Ke Kua’s onsite restaurant, Hideaways Pizza Pub. Opened recently, the fully renovated restaurant has a great atmosphere. Great views with an expanse of large windows overlooking the newly renovated pool area, Hideaways Pizza Pub has become a favorite of locals and visitors. The food reviews are very positive. Our guests enjoy the great pizza, wonderful salads (try the kale), really good selection of beers and large screen TV. The staff is friendly and the service is typically pretty quick. Open daily 5pm - 10pm. Reservations are available for parties of 10 or more.

Pali Ke Kua Resort is located in the heart of Princeville, Hawaii, close to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, (currently under renovation) Princeville Center, Hanalei, Makai Golf Club, shopping, dining and many amazing beaches.
Great for families.

Relax and enjoy sunsets and seasonal whale watching (December through May) from your private lanai.

If you are adventurous there is a charcoal BBQ grill at the end of the paved path to the beach for guests to BBQ, but bring all your own supplies!

  My wife and I just returned from Kauai and stayed in unit #223 for 5 days. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here! The manager provided excellent communication and check-in/out was smooth and easy. The view from this unit is out of this world, beautiful! The grounds and pool are maintained and in excellent condition. We loved the location in Princeville. The only negatives would be that the carpet could stand to be cleaned and kitchen counter to be updated. I believe some of the screens need to be fixed as there was a small problem with really tiny gnat bugs near entry way. Unit is equipped very well with beach supplies and necessary utensils and food spices. We saw dolphins and occasional whale right from the balcony! The stars at night were the brightest we ever seen right out the window. Area around unit is also very quiet and peaceful. Thanks for reading.

It was clean and comfortable with good showers and is a great jumping off point for all North Shore sights. I would stay again for the view alone.   We had a great week here. The condo was very comfortable. The views from the living room and deck were amazing. Lots to explore within walking distance. Visiting Kauai right not has its pluses and minuses. The biggest benefit was the lack of crowds. There were several times when we were the only people in the beach. Have patience with restaurants and other services. Everyone is doing there best but service hours are limited and highly subject to change. If you visit and are asked to take a second COVID test in the middle of your stay, be respectful and take the test. It was very easy to do at the Princeville airport. There was no line at all. We were shocked to learn that only 2% of tourists are taking the second test.

  Our stay in this condo was wonderful. The condo was very clean and we had the most amazing view. The path down to private beach was paved. It was a good hike down but worth it when we got there. My husband snorkelerd many times. Parking was great and the pool and pizza restaurant was close. We had drinks often at night by the pool. Everything was perfect. The only request I would have for next time would be to have snorkeling gear and one more beach chair. There was only one beach chair. The cooler was super handy and we used it almost daily. There were beach umbrellas we wished we would have used. Lori was amazing to work with from beginning to the end of our trip. We will definitely choose this condo again. There is so much to do in this area. Just beautiful!!

  The condo was nice, the furniture was a little dated and the cabinets both in the bathrooms and kitchen. There is no air conditioner which turned out to be fine once you opened all the doors and windows but it would have been nice to know before we booked it to make that decision. This side of the island pretty much does not use AC and it was still very nice. The views from this condo are spectacular from the porch which made this place amazing in itself. We fed little birds fight from the porch out of our hand. We had the best sunset views right from the porch. No need to go anywhere. Overall we were happy there.

  Sunsets and rainbows from the lanai! The views were stunning! The condo was clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable with the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep. The small private beach nearby was very nice, though the surf was still quite high at this time of year so we went over to Anini Beach to actually swim. The weather was cooler and we did get some rain, which was expected in March.

  The condo is located at the edge of an ocean cliff overlooking Hanalei Bay. Although you cannot access the beach from the condo, the view is about as beautiful as you can get. The condo was spacious with nice, comfortable furnishings and bedding. There were a few very minor defects - small section of kitchen counter top peeling up from water damage for example, and no air conditioning (not a problem during our visit with 75-80 degree temps), I would definitely rent here again.

  This unit #223, has the most breathtaking views of Bali Hai, and Hanalei Bay. We watched Whales breaching from the patio deck. The unit is clean and comfortable. Beautiful tropical birds would sing outside in the mornings. We really had a good time. My in laws from Japan joined us. They really liked this location, and enjoyed themselves.   We really enjoyed our stay at Pali Ke Kua #223. The location was perfect and the views were stunning! We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and a few amazing rainbows. We appreciated that condo provided all the beach items we needed: beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and umbrella's. The condo was well cared for and clean, but certainly a bit dated (kitchen & bath). The oven didn't seem to be working well (we couldn't adjust the heat), so wound up just using the stove top. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the extra fans as we had a couple of hot nights. (we noticed most places on the island don't have AC ) Overall, it was a great value and we would recommend the condo to a friend.

  Walk down to Hideaway's was bit steep but worth it. Just take your time heading up if you aren't super fit. There are 3 benches along the trail to stop and catch your breath. At end, some dirt and a little tricky. But absolutely gorgeous!!!

  Princeville is my favorite spot on Kauai for a vacation. Nothing like the view from the condo of what I call Bali Hai. Since I like a bit of rain, this condo's location was excellent. Having two bedrooms and two baths works well with my sister and me. Do stop at a grocery store as there is little in the way of toilet paper and paper products. The rental company provided excellent information on the property, how to get there from the airport, ect. I'd love to rent this condo again on a future vacation.

  The view is priceless. Fortunately, the condo is not too pricey! The unit has everything you need and nothing you don't. We aren't into watching tv or movies when on the north shore of Kaua'i, so we can't rate the tv, etc. The bed (we only used the master king bed) was great. Enough kitchenware to cook meals in. Hard to beat dining on freshly caught ahi or poke while sipping chilled white wine with the backdrop of Bali Hai. We have stayed at two condos in Pali Ke Kua, this one, like the first, was perfect for our needs and desires. We were only two, but the unit easily would accommodate two couples in privacy. We'll be back.

  As always a great visit. More rain than we are used to this time of year but the locals say it's been that kind of year. With that and heavy swells the snorkeling was not good but the seas were beautiful. We discovered a couple of new beaches and took some long beach walks. The Kuilau Ridge hike was beautiful.   The condo is lovely and the view is amazing. There are waterfalls and rainbows during the day and spectacular sunsets at night. The kitchen appliances need help, but the management company says that is in the works. Little things like missing refrigerator shelves or having to open the oven to access drawers are annoying, but if taken care of the condo will be top notch. The condo is well equipped and linens, beds, etc are very nice. We would recommend this condo and we plan on staying again!

  We came during the dark night and woke up to an unexpectanly beautiful view out our living room. It was so nice having a kitchen, laundry and all the comforts of home. There was even unexpected things like laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, umbrella, chairs for the beach, and a boogie board. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the access to a quite snorkeling beach. The fans were nice to have to cool down the rooms. Great having dinner and watching the sunset.   We return to Kauai at least once per year and have stayed in PKK every time over last 10+ years. We have used other management companies but find Priceville Vacations to be consistently repliable and Lori Patch a pleasure to work with. PKK unit we had often rented in past through another agency had become very woren and in need of refurbishment. Lori recommended PKK223 which was very fresh, clean and well prepared. We especially appreciated the excellent condition of all appliances, dish, utensiles etc. Several small negatives: lanai sliding door screens had holes which we easily patched ourselves, several light fixtures bulbs needed replacing we found extra bulbs in condo and replaced ourselves. Overall ... a great place to stay and team to work with! THANKS LORI!!!
