Sunset Princeville Vacation Home

This home is located on the golf course in the beautiful Princeville Sunset Drive Community, open space with gorgeous mountain views. There is a community gated pool and a tennis court for the Sunset Community residents and guests. The home is a 5 minute walk to the 1 Hotel Hanalei in Princeville with beach access or you can drive to beautiful Hanalei Bay. The Sunset home is accommodating for families and large groups.
There is a large back yard and a BBQ Grill for family fun. The living room features a 37” high definition TV, also high speed internet. The master bedroom has a king bed with a flat screen TV and a remodeled bathroom consisting of an over sized tub and walk in shower, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queens beds and the fourth bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a jog walk path along the golf course of Ka Haku Road leading to shops, restaurants, the community park, and to the 1 Hotel Hanalei.

The home is walking distance to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, shop’s, restaurants, and beach access.
Accommodation includes, wireless internet, washer/dryer, dishwasher, blender, 12 cup coffee maker, Smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, and beach umbrella, .a great place to stay!

  This rental worked great for our family. It is a bit outdated and has older carpet in the bedrooms. The twin bedroom has a funky smell that we weren’t sure what it was. We washed the bedding and it was better. The master bed and bathroom was big and spacious. The bath was super nice as well. The neighborhood was very peaceful and well kept. Overall it was a great house and very clean.

  The house was in excellent condition, very clean. The layout is convenient with the bedrooms on the ground floor so you don’t have to lug suitcases upstairs. The upstairs is an open floor plan with great views everywhere. The neighborhood pool is close by and usually very quiet and relaxing. The backyard borders the golf course so that’s an extra bonus with no rear yard neighbors. The house is close to the Princeville shopping center with the Foodland and various restaurants and shops. Hanalei and Annini Beach are a short drive as well. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in 2023.

  Sleeping with windows open and fans on is a must but challenging if you are a light sleeper. The upstairs kitchen/family room have a lot of windows and great views of the surrounding area. The home is dated but sufficient for a nice stay. The only thing the home was lacking was spices including salt for cooking. I'm not sure if the humidity makes it a challenge to keep these things stocked, but we tried cooking hashbrowns and eggs for our first meal and didn't have anything to season them with. Had we known there wouldn't be salt and pepper, we would have picked some up at the store. Still, we had a wonderful stay and appreciated the communication with Lori.

  Great place to stay in princeville. Right on the golf course. Amazing views of the Mountains. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room. So spacious! Kitchen was big and he everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner.. loved having dinners on the balcony. You can walk to the beach but it does take around 30 minutes. There are so many amazing beaches within a 10 minute drive or less. Queens bath trailhead is 5 minute drive away- if conditions are right- then definitely put that on your list.

  The pool is a walk away.
  The only problem was the fans in the rooms. The master and front bedroom fans were *grinding* loud. It was tough to sleep the first night, but we all got used to it. Would have been 5 star across if not for the fans.
  The upstairs balcony was perfect for rainbows and lounging during the day. It accommodated multiple families very well. Having onsite laundry was very helpful.

  We spent a wonderful vacation with our children and some grand children at this house. It is in a great location close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. When we experienced some problems with getting the TV working, customer service was quick to fix the problem and show us how to use the 4 remotes in the correct sequence. We recommend it highly.

  We had a great time at the sunset home and Mandy who was helping us was amazing! She set up a play pen for us as we were arriving late and even allowed us a late checkout as our flight didn't leave until the evening. For those of you with young kids, this is a godsend! The house was great- really clean with a nice back yard for running around and easy access to the pool and tennis courts.

  This place was great for our family of 8! The mountain views were awesome as was the yard and house size. The house was well equipped from kitchen to bath to sporting equipment. The lanai was fantastic and often several degrees cooler than downstairs. The golf course sounds were mildly bothersome. This is more attributable to sleeping with the doors open to keep cool (we're from Seattle).
  This was a fantastic place in a great neighborhood in a great location. The owners have taken good care of the house and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

  We really enjoying staying at the Sunset house. We usually stay at a house a block away, but it was booked already. The house was nicely remodeled. The sheets were a bit musty, but I think that's not uncommon in Hawaii (although we didn't have this problem at the other house we stayed at twice before). We know there were guests the previous week, so we assume the sheets were freshly changed. We wish the house had Wi-Fi. However, we appreciated that most of the bedrooms had TVs. The two twin beds were a bit short. Assuming from the purple decor, it was once a young girl(s) room. Working with Lori was great. In fact, my brother-in-law rented a condo through her, as well. We always love staying in Princeville, on the golf course, near Queen's bath, and central to Waimea and Hanalei. Great neighbors with the cutest dog, Mele.
