Located on Kauai’s incredible north shore overlooking the Blue Pacific Ocean. It is just steps from the Luxurious 1 Hotel Hanalei in the Princeville Resort. You're steps away from the spectacular pool - private for Pu'u Po'a residents - who share access (our experience is there is very little use by others, so we've always felt it was our private pool). Enjoy the tennis and pickleball court.
This condo is on the ground floor, the parking lot is mid level. There are stairs that go down to the ground level to access condo.

The condo is walking distance to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, shop’s, restaurants, and beach access.

  Just wonderful. Condo was huge and very spacious for our family of four. We cooked in a couple nights and the condo had everything we needed. Beautiful sunsets out the window and our children loved being able to play on the lawn or walk right over on the lawn to the pool. Beware - this condo is not for young children - there is a steep cliff drop off right out the door. We felt perfectly safe with our 6 and 8 yo who are good listeners and understand risk. But something to be mindful of if you have toddlers.
  
  The beds were extremely comfy, AC worked great, house is full of fans to keep air circulating, there were beach chairs and beach towels for our use and washer and dryer worked well.
  
  We are thrilled with our stay, hope to be back soon!!

  The location of the condo was perfect for us with access to nearby north shore beaches & Hanalei, as well as the beaches within walking distance (You need to be able-bodied to get to the two pretty beaches down the hills).
  
  We LOVED the expansive and comfortable living space and could not get enough of that VIEW!
  
  Kitchen supplies need to be augmented (i.e. number of plates and forks & knives) -- there were only 4 large plates. Should be a simple fix.
  
  It would also be great if the twin beds could be made up into a king for two couples traveling together.
  
  Back to the view, the telescope turned out to be a phenomenal benefit for us since there was a lunar eclipse during our stay.

  PROS:
  The condo is HUGE! Our family of five, including two adult children, had plenty of space to enjoy our stay.
  The view is spectacular from this unit, especially of the sunsets! Some of the units closer to the pool don't have the Bali Hai view nor can see the sunsets.
  The master bed is very comfortable, however, it would be better with some new sheets and comforter. That's nit picky, but it would really make sleeping more comfortable.
  Kitchen is well equipped. We did a ton of cooking and had everything we needed.
  The unit is very quiet.
  We were pleasantly surprised that the unit was cool enough. We were there in August one of the hottest months and were very comfortable.
  The management was very responsive. We called as some things were missing from the condo. We needed more pillows, an extra beach towel, a cooler and a standing fan to stay cool. We had all of those things the same day. Brand new and straight from Costco. Great service.
  Cons:
  The BBQ seems to be broken. It wouldn't get hot enough to cook a steak. Very frustrating.
  Again, the bedding in the master needs to be updated.
  Lack of outdoor dining area. Some units have outdoor seating and dining area, but this unit does have that extra space inside. There are some patio chairs that you can pull out onto the lawn.
  
  All in all, we would return again to this unit. It suited our family perfectly and we all enjoyed our time.

  From the minute we walked in this SPACIOUS well appointed condo with sweeping ocean views we appreciated the relaxed feel and thoughtful amenities of this unit. Our three adult children and my husband and I all had plenty of space and privacy yet also enjoyed the communal spaces and their views. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked down to leakproof Tupperware and multiple spices. A closet with beach cooler and gear as well as the grill were appreciated and it was so handy to be able to do laundry. We loved the location tucked above Hideaway Beach, walkable to Queen's Bath and strolling 500 yards to St Regis for sunset views. The north shore of Kauai has fabulous beaches and excellent hiking opportunities- kept us happy and active for our 6 days. My adult children kept saying "this place is perfect!" Thank you for helping us create such a fabulous and easy family vacation. Also, the staff was helpful and responsive including helping me receive and FAX back some urgent paperwork that had to be done while there. I searched 15 hours online looking and mapping various options before picking this one. Don't waste your time- just pick this spot!!!

  Rented two condos for family vacation over Christmas, one at ground level and the second on the second floor. Loved the walkout and views of ocean and mountains, whales passing by one day.   We stayed for four nights. The view from house was gorgeous and house was reasonably well equipped. The master bathroom could be more modern, has an interesting bath tub/jacuzzi? The master bedroom is open and has zero privacy from the rest of the house, as an FYI.
  
  I didn't know enough about the island to understand what 'a few steps down to the beach' meant. We had wanted to rent a place where you could just walk out to the beach. If you are looking for such a place, you may want to pick something on the Southern part of the island. The steps down were pretty steep and hard to carry things. House is within an easy drive to the town of Hanalei, where the beach is very accessible, there are some decent stores, restaurants, ice-cream and juice bars, etc. There is a pizza place within easy walking distance, good for take-out. There's also Princeville plaza a couple of miles away with some decent eating places and grocery store.

  Dealing with Lori Patch (of Princeville Vacations) was a pleasure from start to finish. The rental was as expected, first class, with all you would possibly need for a home away from home. Knowing that they had some items for the children would have meant a little less to bring (sand toy, playpen, booster seat). Overall a great experience.

  Wonderful place, we had 5 adults stay here and there was plenty of room. (1 slept on the futon which was pretty comfy!) the house was beautiful and clean! Plenty of towels were provided, including beach towels and also lots of beach accessories. A short steep hike to hideaways beach was not too far from the front door. Beautiful sunsets - can't wait to come back!
